Ever since my winter vacation to South Africa, I have been wanting to write this post. South Africa is a lovely place and demands a lot of time to see around. Well, as the name suggests, the puck is put on the floor of the pool and players get to score against each other’s goals.

I was roped in to this game by my friend, who had come all the way from England. We did have a nice time watching the game for about 10 minutes. The first few minutes was totally exciting, but surely under water hockey is not one of the places, where you would want to be stuck for hours together. You get to see nothing from outside the pool and if I wanted to watch the match on television, I could have done it at my hotel room.

I had a nice chance to talk to a videographer from Cape town and We were discussing about the difficulties of capturing the game on video. I also got a chance to get inside the pool and se what it looked like from under the water. Again, it was nic being for a few minutes, and I would not want to be there for more than 10 minutes.
