One of the best things about living in Minneapolis, is that they are active in all four major sports - baseball, basketball, icehockey and football. The sports fever gets really high during the playoffs and it is always a welcome time for all the people here. It is a good thing to see that sports team travel a lot and play alternate games in the other ground [home and away]. I usually manage to get a season ticket wherever possible and then get to the stadium as often as I like. On the away games, i usually have a small party with my friends either in my home or at one of my friend’s places. It is such a nice thing to see that it is equally fun when you watch the game in a large screen television and sometimes hand out in the garden and in the patio.

When people come over to our place, we usually host a dinner as well. For a game party, we have drinks and chips during the game. Appetizers usually are available through out the day and hence we cook a lot of them. For the main course, we search for a lot of recipes from the internet and make a Lasagna or Enchiladas or Beef Strogonoff. It takes a lot of time to make party food ideas and we are usually helped by one of our friends. It is nice having a game party and we have been doing this for a long time. Sometimes we rush from an away game and host it at some other place and we like to have the meals cooked very fast. Check out some cheap budget recipes and also super fast to cook recipes and we have been blessed with some good recipes and we really made very good use of this.
